GENERAL MANAGEMENT RULES:
- The management reserves the right to close certain attractions in the event of inclement weather or any other circumstances. Additionally, the management can modify or add rules as necessary to maintain a safe and friendly environment. The management has the authority to refuse entry or request that a member or guest leave if their presence poses a threat to others’ safety and well-being in the club.
- Members, their families, guests, and sitters are expected to behave in a respectful manner. The use of profanity or abusive language, rowdyism, hazardous horseplay, and violations of rules will not be tolerated. Temporary suspension or expulsion may be imposed. Any willful damage to Club property, or damage due to neglect, will be charged to the responsible family, and any outstanding charges after 14 days will result in the suspension of privileges.
- Using Club facilities is done at one’s own risk. The Village Field Club does not take responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.
- All members are expected to comply with the established rules, regulations, and by-laws. Refusal to comply may result in fines, temporary suspension, or membership cancellation. Complaints against a member or staff should be made in writing to the Board of Directors.
- On days with high traffic, please park on the lawn in a diagonal manner to optimize the parking space.
- Running through the parking lot is prohibited.
- Management and lifeguards are here for your safety. All members must follow their instructions at all times.
LAWN RULES:
- Each person is responsible for disposing of their own trash, including empty cans and bottles, pool towels, and accessories.
- After using the grill area and utensils, please clean up after yourself.
- The square tables located next to the Snack Shack are reserved for Snack Shack customers only. Tables for extended family use are available on the North and South lawns.
- To allow all families to enjoy the VFC experience, tables that are claimed but left unoccupied by noon on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will become available for other families to use.
- Smoking is only permitted in the designated grassy area between the two parking rows, and cigarette butts should be disposed of in the provided container.
- Alcohol is allowed for adults of legal drinking age but must be consumed only on the lawn.
POOL RULES:
- No one is allowed in the pool unless a lifeguard is on duty.
- Children who are not toilet trained or under three years of age must wear swim diapers in all pools.
- Cameras are strictly prohibited in the locker rooms.
- No glass, food or drink, except water, is allowed on the pool deck, and coolers are not allowed.
- Running, pushing, dunking, or any other forms of unruly behavior are not permitted.
- Children under the age of 9 and older may not swim without parental supervision.
- The designated lanes for lap swim are for lap swimmers only.
- Oversized inflatable toys are not allowed in the pool due to safety concerns, and no inflatables are permitted in the main pool.
- Do not hang on or sit on the lane lines.
- Diving is only permitted off the diving boards. All other areas of the pool are too shallow for diving.
- Spitting, spouting water from the mouth, or blowing one’s nose in the pool is strictly prohibited.
- Adult swim takes place for 15 minutes every hour. Children must exit the pool promptly upon the lifeguard’s announcement. Children may not sit on the side of the pool and must stay behind the white area. During adult swim, no ball-throwing activities between adults and children outside the pool.
DIVING BOARD RULES:
- Lifejackets, goggles, and other flotation devices or toys are not allowed for anyone using the diving boards.
- Only one person is allowed on the board or slide at a time. Others must wait at the bottom of the ladder and/or stairs for their turn.
- Double-bouncing or other erratic behavior is not permitted.
- When jumping off, you must jump straight off the board, facing forward, with no back dives or jumping sideways off the board.
- No dives requiring hands to touch the diving board.
GUEST RULES:
- A member must accompany all guests who wish to use the club. Guests must follow all VFC rules.
- There are blackout dates for guest passes.
- Members may purchase guest passes at the pool for $10.00 per guest per day.
- A maximum of four guest passes can be utilized during holidays and when bands are performing. It is the responsibility of the members to stay informed about these dates. (5/28, 7/3, 7/4, 7/23, 8/12, 8/26, 9/3, 9/4, 9/9)
